Holton Primary School lies in the heart of the village and is a very popular school. It was built in the 1850s and enlarged in 1914.

The school underwent more improvements with the building of a new hall, classroom and library to accommodate an additional number of children in 2012 when Suffolk changed to a two tier system and children remained at primary school until the age of 11.
